A unique, limited and very hard to find 12 YO whisky from the Dalmore distillery.

Dalmore distillery was used as a deep-sea mine production centre by the Royal Navy between 1917 and 1920. After the navy departed, the distillery was left in tatters, and – after a long compensation battle involving the House of Lords – the distillery was brought back online in 1922.

Now Dalmore, under the stewardship of Richard Paterson, presents itself as a luxury brand with a history of wealthy backers, with some of its bottlings among the most expensive in the world.

This Dalmore is medium to full bodied velvety malt, with a golden colour infused with a deep, mahogany glow. The influence of the Oloroso sherry butts over 12 long years, add a distinctively rich, smooth and mellow quality to its refined bouquet.

Located in the Northern Highlands, The Dalmore means “meadowland”. The name reflects the position of the distillery overlooking the “meadowland” of the Black Isle, a rich, fertile part of the Scottish mainland
