A stunning whisky from Glenglassaugh, bottled exactly three years after the first casks were filled at the distillery under new ownership on the 16th December 2008.
This distillery lies just outside the small town of Buckie in the North East of Scotland. It lay dormant for many years and this bottling represents the first new release following it starting back up again.
A release of 650 bottles at cask strength.
Nose Fruity and rich, notes of mango chutney, coriander, honeycomb, toffee brittle and berries.
Palate Sweet cereals and toasted almond. Thick malt, porridge oats, berries and spice.
Finish Long with chilli heat and red berries.
