The Jura Tastival is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky released each year by the Isle of Jura distillery in conjunction with the Fèis Ìle festival on Islay.
In 2017, the release was aged in American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in select port pipes from Graham’s Port house, resulting in a cask strength whisky at 51% ABV
Jura’s 2017 release, commemorating that year’s Tastival, is wonderfully well-balanced for a cask-strength whisky.
Aged initially in bourbon casks and thereafter divided between American oak bourbon barrels and port pipes, it’s fruity, zesty and sweet.
