The word amrut is from the Sanskrit language and means “nectar of the gods”. The distillery itself often uses it as a synonym for “water of life”.

Amrut mainly uses American white oak casks, but since the distillery has garnered in international reputation and the demand has risen, they have also started to use Sherry casks and other types of casks.
