A lovely limited edition blend, Compass Box Delilah’s XXV saw 8520 bottles released to mark the 25th anniversary of the Delilah whisky bar in Chicago. This 46% ABV dram has a big nose with pecan nuts, blackberries, butterscotch, bourbon and a little grass. The palate is heavy on the sherry with spices and chocolate, pralines and ice cream. The finish is fruity with lingering green apples and apricot.
A heavyweight Speyside malt distillery that is home to Scotland’s most complex distillation regime. Famously distilling its spirit 2.81 times, its whisky is synonymous with the Johnnie Walker blends and beloved as a single malt, particularly when sherry cask-aged.
