This is a rare, distillery-bottled 15-year-old Tormore, clocking in at 46%.

Originally released around the late 1990s under the ownership of Allied Domecq, its presence has diminished since being succeeded by the official 12yo in 2004.

The nose is captivated with a delightful blend of sweet old wood, reminiscent of furniture polish, intertwined with refreshing notes of lemon, orange, and the enchanting aroma of jasmine tea. As you dive deeper, there’s an unmistakable allure of sanding dust, a medley of spices like nutmeg, licorice, cardamom, aniseed, and subtle nuances of mint and old leather.

Taking a sip, the palate is greeted with a slightly sweet and waxy undertone, beautifully balanced by floral citrus, tree sap, and sugar.

It boasts a voluminous body complemented by a lively spiciness and a hint of mirabelle plums, malt, and herbs.
