A Speyside malt whisky distillery located in Ballindalloch.


It was established in 1965 and quickly acquired by Whyte & Mackay who eventually passed it to Angus Dundee Distillers in 2000.


Under its ownership its provides bulk supply for blending as well as its own single malt label.


This twelve-year-old Tomintoul was bottled in the 1980s, when the ‘perfume’ style cylindrical bottle was still fashionable.


It still bears the name of the Glenlivet, as this was before the distillery of the same name decided to take action to stop the practice.
