The Godet Jules Domet Brandy is an oak cask aged brandy. These oak casks are located in cellars facing the Atlantic Ocean. Here, the brandy is aged for 4-9 years, to give Godet VSOP brandy an exceptional expression of wood notes and a distinctive natural sweetness.

The House of Godet is renowned as the forefather of cognac and fine French brandy, as it has been for hundreds of years. Today, five centuries and fifteen generations after first being awarded the seal of approval, Godet Jules Brandy remains a family business.

It is run by the three brothers of the fifteenth generation, who continue to produce this world-renowned oceanic French cognac. But today, our VSOP French brandy combines this commitment to tradition with pioneering modern methods.

So, while we continue to grow our vines in the same area as when our House was founded in the 16th century, our growing methods favour grape variety diversity and soil quality.
