This release celebrates the combined wisdom and inspiration of three Highland Park Whisky Makers: Gordon Motion, Max McFarlane and John Ramsay.

cask types: first-fill sherry seasoned Spanish oak butts, first-fill sherry seasoned American oak casks and ex-bourbon barrels and hogsheads and a small number of refill casks

This debut Kilkerran 16-year-old release features 96% bourbon casks and 4% Marsala casks in the vatting. Glengyle is a malt distillery in Campbeltown, originally built in 1872 and operational until 1925 when it became one of many in the region to close its doors.

When the buildings were bought by J&A Mitchell & Co in 2000 they were no more than shells, and the company spent the next four years renovating the site and installing new equipment that included stills acquired from Ben Wyvis.

Production began in 2004 as the revived distillery became the first new producer of the 21t century.
