To craft this vintage cognac, we use grapes from some of the finest growing areas in the ‘cognac cradle’ of France: the fruity aromas of the Bon Bois and more floral, elegant aromas of Fin Bois.

Double distilled and aged in French oak casks, we carefully balance the wood, fruit and floral aromas with the Atlantic Sea breezes blowing round our west coast distillery for a cognac single barrel of remarkable fullness.

The multiple international awards Godet have won (including Silver at the San Francisco World spirit competition 2017) not only cement our credentials as worthy ultra-premium cognac makers but also stand testament to the extreme care that goes into production.

Godet Freres Cognac is 100% family-owned, based in the harbour of La Rochelle under the stewardship of the 15th generation of Godet. This Cognac brand was born out of a salt and wine business established by the first Godet in 1588 who became one of the first traders of what would be known as French cognac.

It is the perfect example of a Cognac house that deeply believes in the tradition of this alcoholic beverage and its origins.
