Founded in 1838, Glen Ord is now the only remaining distillery on the Black Isle, in the north-east of Scotland.

This 15-year-old bottling of their Singleton is one the eight expressions that make up Diageo’s Special Releases 2022.

The whisky spent eight years in wine casks, developing a distinctive red fruit character such as raspberries and red cherries, complemented by darker dried fruit and figs.

Hints of vanilla emerge on the finish.
